Careful What You Ask for

Okay, everyone knows that I'm a dog lover--always have been, always will be. And every since I can remember, I've wanted another dog. Well, my cousin called me two weeks ago and asked if I'd wanted her mixed Lab that she'd had for the last 8 months. With her work schedule and that of her daughter's, she felt like she just didn't have enough time to properly take care of him. So I'm all wide eyed and I said sure.

She brought him to me on Saturday, and I swear I'm giving him back to her. She claimed that he was such a sweetheart (he is) and that he knew commands, but it's like this dog doesn't even know his own name. And he's HUGE. My house is not big enough to have a dog of this size (not to mention if the landlord ever found out, we would probably get kicked out). He's like 200 lbs and he likes to jump on your head.

Seriously, I'm sitting in my computer chair and he's big enough to jump on top of my head. He swears that he's still a baby so he likes be in people's lap. I don't have the patience, nor the energy to handle a dog like him. Then he barks non-stop when you put him in his cage. At 2:00-3:00 in the morning. We have neighbors. He also chews on my shoes (BIG MISTAKE) and my carpet. I called me cousin and told her to come get him and she's like give it a week. I can't do a week of this.

Oh, bummer! I understand you a lot: I love dogs, but when they're... nice and know commands and behave nice.

The week is almost over (a lie, but anything to make you feel better) and your shoes will be safe again!
Good dispatch and this enter helped me alot in my college assignement. Gratefulness you on your information.
